In 1982, a year after setting up Rocamer as a company, Rosendo Mercader ended his collaboration with Ocaso Seguros as a debt collector and joined Preventiva as the exclusive agent for the area in which he worked, taking all the policies he owned from Ocaso to Preventiva. This was one of the main turning points in the life of Rocamer Seguros.
